<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail which is attached to a corridor, a staircase, a bathroom, or the like, high in visibility even in the dark, and nonslipping even if gripped with the wet hand. <P>SOLUTION: The handrail 1 is formed by sheathing a peripheral surface of a core 10 formed of a cylindrical or columnar rod having a circular or elliptic cross section, with a silicone rubber member 20.
