PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographic device and a photographic method, with which the focusing of depth of field and focus intended by a photographer is readily achieved. SOLUTION: The photographing method includes a measuring step (S01) for measuring the distance, to at least one noticeable subject existing within an angle of view at which photographing can be performed; a field-adjusting step (S06 and S08) to adjust a focal position and the aperture of a diaphragm so that the blurring amount of all the noticeable subjects, measured in the measuring step, is within a predetermined value; and a photographic step (S16) for performing photographing, at the focal position and with the aperture of the diaphragm adjusted in the field-adjusting step.
