AUTHENTICATION SYSTEM AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in a system and an apparatus for authentication using on-vehicle equipment and a keyless entry device, that it is not considered that a plurality of authentication systems adjacently exist for a long time and frequent interferences occur in mutual authentication at a concert hall or a crowded train when the system is applied to authentication by a cellular phone and a card key so that functions are limited for the use. SOLUTION: Each main body apparatus and cellular phone has a transmission frequency change means for changing transmission frequency and a receiving frequency change means for changing receiving frequency. Different frequencies are used for a plurality of different operation modes (such as search modes or application modes), and a frequency used for operation modes 30b and 30c (application modes) that the use frequency is the highest and interferences easily occur is changed to a specified operation mode 30a (a search mode) that the use frequency is low and interferences hardly occur when an interference is detected.
