PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change the threshold value of a waveform shaping comparator. SOLUTION: An input signal from an input terminal 10 is supplied to a comparator 14 via a capacitor 12 and compared with the threshold value there and waveform shaping is performed thereon. The output of an analog switch 64 or 66 is supplied to the comparator 14 as a threshold value and when a smoothing capacitor 34 is connected to a smoothing terminal 32, the midpoint potential of an input signal obtained in the smoothing terminal 32 is supplied but when the smoothing terminal 32 is a ground potential, a reference voltage VREF is supplied. Switching thereof is automatically performed by a switching control circuit 36 in accordance with the potential of the smoothing terminal 32. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
