PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PET bottle in which a label is easily detached and used for a hanging strap when purchasing a beverage stored in the PET bottle. SOLUTION: In the PET bottle 1, a label 3 is mounted around a barrel portion 11. The label 3 consists of upper and lower portions 4 and 5. These upper and lower portions 4 and 5 are separable from each other. At least the upper portion 4 of the label 3 is formed of a resin material having the elongation in the transverse direction large enough to be stretchable into a string shape, and is mounted so as to be pulled out from the barrel portion 11 under a ring condition, and merchandise information 5a is printed on a surface of the lower portion 5 of the label 3.
