PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass bottle with a shrink label wherein it is easily noticed that the glass bottle is broken, positioning of the shrink label is unnecessary, and the shrink level is free from any cut in a distribution stage. SOLUTION: A large number of longitudinal grooves are formed on an outer periphery of a barrel portion of a glass bottle, and the barrel portion is covered with a shrink label. An upper end of the shrink label is located below upper ends of the longitudinal grooves, and a lower end is located above lower ends of the longitudinal grooves. When the barrel portion of the glass bottle is broken, liquid content leaking outside an outer surface of the barrel portion flows outside from the longitudinal grooves at the lower end of the shrink label. Since no communication holes are formed in the label, the label need not be positioned, and the label is not possibly cut off. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
