PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device provided with a light source and a light guiding means with good designability. SOLUTION: The light guiding means is provided with a reflecting surface for reflecting light entering from an incident plane, a refracting surface for refracting light reflected by the reflecting surface, and an outgoing surface for emitting light refracted by the refracting surface to the outside. The reflecting surface of the light guiding means is formed at a position which is not directly and visually confirmed from the outgoing surface. The light reflected by the reflecting surface is refracted by the refracting surface at least one time, is dispersed and is made to emit from the outgoing surface, and thereby light unevenness due to ruggedness of the reflecting surface is reduced. The reflecting surface is formed at a position which is not directly and visually confirmed from the outgoing surface, and thereby light unevenness of the reflecting surface is not visually confirmed from the outgoing surface.
