PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To firstly restrain battery power consumption of an active stabilizer on a vehicle furnished with a cross connecting type shock absorber system and the active stabilizer and to secondly properly cope with leakage of working oil on a part of a hydraulic piping of the cross connecting type shock absorber system by correcting working of the active stabilizer. SOLUTION: Active working of the active stabilizer is not carried out while rolling proceeds when a car body rolls, and the active stabilizer is set in a lock mode or in a fail mode in correspondence with leakage of a working oil passage of the cross connecting type shock absorber system.
