PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a white polyethylene-based film for packaging making the contents not contaminated and exhibiting superior anti-staticity. SOLUTION: In a multi-layer polyethylene-based film comprising a substrate layer and at least one surface layer, the substrate layer comprises (A) a resin composition comprising (A1) an ethylenic polymer with an MFR of 0.5-10 g/10 min of 80-97 wt.% and a titanium dioxide of 3-20 wt.%, the surface layer comprises a resin composition (B) comprising an ethylenic polymer with an MFR of 0.5-3 g/10 min (B1) of 55-95 wt.%, a polypropylene resin with an MFR of 10-100 g/10 min (B2) of 0-25 wt.% and a polymeric anti-static agent comprising a block copolymer of a polyolefin and a hydrophilic polymer as a main component (B3) of 5-20 wt.% and the thickness of the surface layer is 5-100% of that of the substrate layer per layer.
