PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a call display device which can simply and easily display various information. SOLUTION: The device has a display unit 8 which displays information, and the memory 12 which stores the display data to be displayed in the display unit 8, and the display data memorized in the memory 12 are displayed in the display unit 8. The device also has a remote control unit 16 which transmits the identification code by the infra-red communication, the portable mobile terminal 18 which transforms the character codes edited in accordance with the keystroke input into the display data and can transmit that display data by the infra-red communication, and the infra-red communication circuit 14 which can receive the infra-red communication. When the infra-red communication circuit 14 receives the identification code via infra-red communication from the remote control unit 16, the circuit receives the display data by way of infra-red communication through the infra-red communication circuit 14 and stores the display data into the memory 12. The remote control unit 18 is the mobile phone which can download the software from the web-server 20 and the software transforms the edited character codes into the display data.
