PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the sound volume adjusting function for bonus game performance sounds more sufficient in a slot machine. SOLUTION: When an account settlement button is pressed by a game player right after a betting button has been pressed contrary to the basic operating procedures during a bonus game, a bonus game performance sound volume from a speaker is reduced with the pressing of the betting button as a trigger. Therefore, when the game player leaves his/her seat during the bonus game, or interrupts the game in order to take an action for transferring acquired tokens to a cash-box, if the account settlement button is pressed by the game player after the betting button has been pressed and prior to the operation of a starting lever conforming to the intention of the game player, the sound volume of the performance sound in response to the bonus game is reduced right after the pressing of the account settlement button.
