PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible tube for an endoscope, where members are mutually fixed firmly with a bonding agent and good liquid tightness is maintained, and a reliable endoscope equipped with the flexible tube. SOLUTION: The distal end of an outer coat (first outer coat) 32 and the proximal end of an outer coat (second outer coat) 42 is overlapped with each other in the vicinity of a connecting tube 43. The overlapped portion is bound by a tight binding thread 9 from the outer side surface and the tight binding thread 9 is coated/fixed by the bonding agent 95. Therefore, an insertion flexible tube 2 shown in Fig.1 is constructed. The bonding agent 95 uses a bonding agent including a resin material 96 and a plurality of fiber chips 97 with a tensile strength stronger than that of the resin material 96.
