Esters of flavonoids, including flavones, flavonols, flavanones, flavanols, flavanolols, isoflavones, anthocyanins, proanthocyanidins, chalcones, aurones and hydroxycoumarins conjugated by an ester bond to a omega-substituted C6 to C22 fatty acid are provided. The esters may be used in cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and nutritional preparations.
