PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily attain consistency of on-site equipment with a ledger, and to quickly specify the on-site equipment.

SOLUTION: This on-site equipment management system 10 for managing an outdoor or indoor on-site equipment is provided with an IC tag 31 arranged in the on-site equipment and stored with equipment specifying information for specifying the on-site equipment; portable terminal equipment 13 reading equipment specifying information from the IC tag 31 through an IC tag reader 22; and an on-site equipment management server 11 connected through a communication network 14 to the portable terminal equipment 13 and in response to inquiry from the portable terminal equipment 13, notifying the portable terminal equipment about detail information corresponding to the on-site equipment specified by the equipment specifying information.
