<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil separator for blowby gas which reliably separates from the blowby gas an oil mist having very small particle-size without increasing a pressure loss. <P>SOLUTION: A discharge electrode 30 is placed in the upstream of flow of the blowby-gas in a separator body 12 made up of an insulating material. The oil mist in the blowby gas is charged by a corona discharge caused by the discharge electrode 30. A counter electrode 34 is placed in the downstream.
