<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize highly efficient dual photography. <P>SOLUTION: The number of captured images required to create an optical transfer matrix T relating to (p×q) projection pixel arrays is decreased from (p×q) images to (p+q) images. That facilitates the application of the dual photography. Instead of using the matrix T, an index connecting only each projection pixel and a light transport value that is not zero is used. This index facilitates the operation of the optical transport matrix. By eliminating the use of an optical transport coefficient that is zero, memory requirements and computing requirements for implementing the dual photography are greatly reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
