<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toll processing system for reducing the congestion in an exit toll gate of a toll road. <P>SOLUTION: The system has a preliminary fare adjustment device installed in a parking area. The device includes: an entrance toll gate obtaining part for reading an entrance toll gate ID to identify an entrance toll gate from a ticket issued by the entrance toll gate; an exit toll gate obtaining part for obtaining an exit toll gate ID to identify an exit toll gate through an input device; a usage fee calculation unit for calculating usage fee on the basis of the entrance toll gate ID and the exit toll gate ID; a card processing part for reading card information from a credit card; an adjustment part for adjusting the usage fee by using the card information; and an issuing part for issuing an adjustment ticket with the exit toll gate ID written thereon. The system further includes an adjustment ticket reading part installed in the exit toll gate of the toll road and for reading the exit toll gate ID from the adjustment ticket; and a difference adjustment part for adjusting the difference in usage fee by using the card information when the exit toll gate ID read out by the reading part indicates a distance shorter than that of the exit toll gate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
