PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a compact dust remover generating vibration with large acceleration. SOLUTION: The dust remover 10 is constituted of a dust-proof member 20 attached to cover over an imaging element and a vibration generating member 30 exciting the dust-proof member. Both short sides of the dust-proof member 20 forming a rectangle are supported by two supporting parts 330, and the two supporting parts 330 are respectively connected to two coupling parts 320. The coupling part 320 is connected to an element receiving part 312 provided with vibration generating elements 311 on both sides at the end. The vibration generating element 311 vibrates in a longitudinal direction, and excites the dust-proof member 20 through the element receiving part 312, the coupling part 320 and the supporting part 330. Since the natural frequency of the vibration generating member 30 is nearly the same as frequency for exciting the dust-proof member 20, the dust-proof member is efficiently excited by a resonance effect.
