PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-shrinkable polyester film suitable for a label excellent in all of shrink finish properties, the close contact properties with a bottle and perforation opening properties. SOLUTION: A polyester resin component A which contains 95 mol% or above of an ethylene terephthalate unit with respect to 100 mol% of the constituent unit of the total polyester of the resin component and a resin component B which contains 65-93 mol% of an ethylene terephthalate and 7-35 mol% of a neopentyl terephthalate unit with respect to 100 mol% of the constituent unit of the whole polyester of the resin component B are respectively charged in separate extruders A1 and B1 and, after the resin component A and the resin component B are charged in a static mixer in a molten state, they are extruded from a T-die and the non-stretched sheet formed by cooling is at least stretched uniaxially to obtain the heat shrinkable polyester film.
