PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ghost signal generating apparatus with a simple configuration capable of generating a ghost signal corresponding to various ghost generating states. SOLUTION: The ghost signal generating apparatus is provided with: at least three coaxial cables C1 to Cn whose line lengths differ from each other respectively; a distributor 1 that distributes a single high frequency signal S1 to the coaxial cables C1 to Cn, respectively; an adder 2 for summing outputs of the coaxial cables C1 to Cn; and a switch means (switch means comprising switches SW1 to SWn) that switches connection/non-connection between the coaxial cables C1 to Cn and the distributor 1 or the adder 2by each cable.
