PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pixel color having a color tone different from a target color precisely when adjusting color, by composing the color of a dot scanner for composing a dot image of the pixel of color adjusted to the target color of a solid region and the pixel of color having a color tone different from the target color. SOLUTION: When the region of each color at the dot scanner for composing the dot image is composed of a first color pixel (pixel (a)) adjusted to the color of the solid region that becomes a color adjustment target, and at least one kind of second color pixel (pixel (b)) having a color tone different from the first color to adjust the color; the value of the solid color specification system of each color that becomes the target of color adjustment, and that of the color specification system of neutral tints of each color are acquired. The value of the color specification system of the first color of each color at the dot scanner is set to be the acquired value of the solid color specification system of each color at the dot scanner. The value of the color specification system of the second color of each color at the dot scanner is obtained by converting the acquired value of the solid color specification system of each color, using a monotonic increasing function in which the inclination decreases following an increase in a variable.
