PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch actuator which allows the cost reduction and miniaturization and correctly compensates the abrasion of a clutch disk. SOLUTION: A clutch actuator 1 comprises an output wheel 5 rotated by a motor 2, an output rod 6 in which an output end strokes with the rotation of the output wheel 5, and an assist spring 3 for assisting the rotation of the output wheel 5, controls connection and disconnection of a clutch by output of the motor 2 and assisting force of the assist spring 3, and includes a solenoid valve 9 and hydraulic piston 13 for moving the fulcrum 16 of the assist spring 3 so that the output of the motor 2 for stroking an output rod 6 by a unit quantity within a prescribed range.
