PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an HST in a simple structure capable of effectively preventing a free wheel phenomenon of a driving wheel operatively driven by a hydraulic motor unit, in the HST having the hydraulic pump unit and the hydraulic motor unit provided apart from each other. SOLUTION: In the hydraulic motor unit 200, a motor side operation oil passage for forming a part of an operation oil line 400 and a motor side charge oil passage 440 in which an end part opens outward and forms a motor side charge port 440P and the other end part is fluidly connected to the motor side operation oil passage and a check valve 485 inserted to the motor side charge oil passage so as to allow oil to enter from the motor side charge port to the motor side operation oil passage 440 and to prevent the oil from flowing in a reverse direction.
