摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chain belt with both ends of a pin formed into convex curved surfaces each coming in asymptotic contact with a conical surface of a pulley, and to improve durability of the ends of the pin which abut and engage with the pulley of the chain belt suspended between a pair of pulleys. SOLUTION: Adjoining ends of first and second links are overlapped with each other, and the pin penetrates a first hole formed on the end of the first link at the overlapped part and a second hole formed on the end of the second link at the overlapped part. Edges of the first and the second holes opposite to each other through the pin have an outline to allow the first and the second links to roll from one end to the other end in the transverse section of the pin along a surface of the pin when they are relatively angularly deflected around the pin. The both ends of the pin are formed into convex curved surfaces that come in asymptotic contact with the conical surface of the pulley. As such, by the pin abutting the conical surface of the pulley with such a blade-like edge, a situation such as receiving high contact pressure is avoided, and the durability of the chain belt can be improved.
