PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce in size variations of crushed materials by preventing flying out and by improving the classification precision while retaining the simplicity and the compactness of an apparatus as compared with conventional structures. SOLUTION: The jet mill is provided with a mill main body 1 forming a roughly annular hollow chamber a, a discharging part 2 installed nearly in the center of the hollow chamber a, a raw material supplying means 3 introducing a raw material to the hollow chamber a, and a jetting means 4 forming a swirling flow in the hollow chamber a by a high-pressure fluid. The discharging part 2 possesses a cylindrical part which is protrusively installed on one of the upper and lower wall parts 10, 11 partitioning the hollow chamber a and extended to the other wall part side crossing the hollow chamber a in the vertical direction, and which is arranged in a recess 21a installed on the other wall part and protruding outside of the hollow chamber while holding a discharge auxiliary route c and a secondary classification gap d. Crushed materials enter the inside of the cylindrical part 20 from a classification zone through the discharge auxiliary route and the gap for the secondary classification gap.
