PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug body preventing rolling of a fishing rod, etc., and readily performing mounting and demounting operation. SOLUTION: The plug body is equipped with an internal fitting part 5B for a rod body on the hand side internally fitted into an opening on the side of the rod tip end of the rod butt and a knob operation part 5A and the outer peripheral surface of the internally fitting part 5B for the rod body on the hand side is formed into a circular cross section.
