The compressor has a compressor housing (1), and a drive motor arranged on the outside of the compressor housing. A drive shaft (3) for a wobble plate is guided through a wall of the housing, where the swash plate is arranged in a crank chamber (2). The drive shaft is connected with the drive motor via a drive sided belt pulley (8) arranged at the drive shaft in a rotatably fixed manner. The housing is fluid cooled in the area of the crank chamber. The housing has a co-axially arranged cooling jacket with an inlet and outlet for a cooling fluid, which surrounds the part of the chamber.
