METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR NORMALIZING VOICE FEATURE VECTOR BY DELTA HISTOGRAM

A method for normalizing a voice feature vector by using a delta histogram and an apparatus therefor are provided to normalize a non-linear distortion as well as a linear feature distortion of a voice signal in a voice recognition system. A delta normalizing unit(302) obtains a delta feature vector from a histogram-normalized static feature vector for a voice signal, and performs the histogram normalization of the obtained delta feature vector. An acceleration normalizing unit(303) obtains an acceleration feature vector from the histogram-normalized delta feature vector, and performs the histogram normalization of the acceleration feature vector.
