<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording medium which has a recording layer hardly affected by heat of a thermal head, and hence can be printed by using a heat sensitive printer which can be inexpensively manufactured. <P>SOLUTION: The optical recording medium has a transparent substrate, the recording layer, a metal reflection layer and a protective layer, wherein the protective layer has at least one heat sensitive coloring layer which can be printed by the heat sensitive printer, the heat sensitive coloring layer contains a pigment having an oil absorption of ≥50 ml/100g and the recording layer is formed of at least one dyestuff selected from a phthalocyanine dyestuff and an azo dyestuff having an allowable temperature limit of ≥260°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
