<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phosphor plate which can reduce color shading of white light emitted from a light emission plane and thereby can surely reduce color shading, and to provide a light emitting device equipped therewith. <P>SOLUTION: The phosphor plate 9 is used for wavelength conversion, and is arranged on the light extraction side of an LED element 3. It contains a phosphor which is excited when it receives light emitted from the LED element 3 and emits a wavelength conversion light.
