PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a tool capable of easily and safely performing work of drawing out a piston 10 from a cylinder part 8 of a caliper 2 without uselessly consuming a brake oil and soiling the surrounding. SOLUTION: The tool is equipped with an anchor plate 16, a tension rod 17, an engagement means 18, and a draw-out force imparting means 19. Out of the above, the anchor plate 16 is laid across a caliper claw 9 of the caliper 2 to straddle over a neck part 11 provided to the caliper claw 9. By drawing out the tension rod 17 with the draw-out force imparting means 19 in a state of a tip end of the tension rod 17 and the piston 10 engaged by the engagement means 18, the piston 10 is drawn out of the cylinder 8.
