PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent material obtained by thermally induced reaction of a curable composition, to provide optical devices preferably ophthalmic lenses, comprising the material. SOLUTION: A curable composition comprising (a) a prepolymer of the polyurethane type and (b) an aromatic diamine, especially of formula (1), in an amount such that the ratio of the number of amine functional groups of the diamine of formula (I) to the number of isocyanate functional groups of the prepolymer (a) is between 0.92 and 0.98, and at least 5% by weight, relative to the total weight of (a), (b) and (c), of a polystyrene-block-polybutadiene-block-poly(methyl methacrylate) block copolymer, is provided.
