PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic generator having a waveform effective for exterminating noxious insects such as a moth. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic generator comprises an ultrasonic generating element 3 which emits an ultrasonic, a memory 5 stored with a wave form data of the ultrasonic to be emitted, and a driving part 2 which drives the ultrasonic generating element 3 according to the wave form data stored in the memory 5 wherein the ultrasonic emitted by the ultrasonic generating element 3 is a burst wave whose frequency and amplitude are modulated and the amplitude of the burst wave varies from a minimum value to the minimum value through a maximum value.
