<p>The device has a sensor module (4) detecting positioning inaccuracy of a processing head (2) and generating an electrical signal based on the positioning inaccuracy. An actuator module (5) has a transducer device to deflect the head based on the signal in relation to a carrier (6). The sensor module has transmitting and receiving units (12, 14) that are arranged at the head and at a non-free end (8) of the carrier. A light beam (13) from the transmitting unit strikes on the receiving unit centrically or laterally based on the positioning inaccuracy of the head.</p>
