<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a starter system for a occupant protection device capable of performing by-current communications without being influenced by the vehicle noise between a center unit and a satellite unit and of sensing a failure in the communication lines. <P>SOLUTION: Currents flowing in a pair of communication lines 4a and 4b are varied on the basis of the data given from a G-sensor 31 on the side with a collision sensor unit 3, and on the side with a center air bag ECU 2, currents are sensed by a current detector circuit 23 installed on an upstream communication line 4a and a current detector circuit 25 installed on a downstream communication line 4b, and data reception is conducted on the basis of the result of detected current by the respective current detector circuits 23 and 25, and therefore it is possible to perform a by-current communication of high reliability without being influenced by the vehicle noise. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
