<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation device for surely recognizing rocking operations to specific operating directions by a smaller number of detection parts than the number of the specific operating directions, and for easily achieving the further subdivision or continuation of the specific operating directions or extension to operation recognition other than rocking operations. <P>SOLUTION: The displacement in the neutral axial line N direction of a face 8C to be detected of a body 5 to be detected, which is installed so as to integrally rocked with the operation part 4, is detected by three or more displacement detection parts 7 where the layout positions around the neutral axial line N are different from each other, according to a rocking operation of the operation part 4. The three-dimensional detection positions M1, M2, and M3 of the body 5 to be detected are determined by using the displacement detection output Z of the neutral axial line N of the displacement detection part 7 and the layout position information (X, Y) around the neutral axial line N, and which direction the rocking operation of the operation part 4 has been performed to is recognized by using the information of the displacement plane DP decided by the three three-dimensional detection positions M1, M2 and M3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
