AIR BLOWER AND METHOD FOR CLEANING INNER SURFACE OF CYLINDRICAL BORE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clean cylindrical bores having different sizes by using one nozzle.

SOLUTION: The nozzle 30 is constituted of a tube having flexibility and the air is blown on the inside surface of the cylindrical bore by inserting the nozzle into the cylindrical bore. A rotating pipe 25 has the rotating axis in the depth direction of the cylindrical bore and to which the nozzle 30 is inserted and which rotates together with the nozzle 30 with the reaction of the air blown on the inside surface of the cylindrical bore from the nozzle 30. A holding metal tool 40 holds the tip end part 30a of the nozzle 30 to a prescribed distance from the rotating axis and a prescribed angle to the inside surface of the cylindrical bore. The distance from the rotating axis at the tip end part 30a of the nozzle 30 is changed according to the size of the cylindrical bore with the holding metal tool 40, and the air is slantly blown at a prescribed angle onto the inside surface of the cylindrical bore from the neighborhood of the inside surface of the cylindrical bore.
