PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for information processing for directly transmitting an operating condition information already set in the own apparatus to other apparatus connected to a same network to set the information, without presetting an acquiring destination for the operating condition information including a setting information and a taste information. SOLUTION: When a control means 53 of a network-connected television receiver 1a transmits an operating condition information stored in a storage means 52 of the network-connected television receiver 1a to an apparatus B, a control means 53 of a digital recorder 1b connected to a same network stores an operating condition information, which meets a predetermined storage condition, in a storage means 52 of the digital recorder 1b, out of the received operating condition information.
