PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the mounting structure of a power resistor preventing the enlargement of a bracket and having excellent heat-dissipating property and heat-shielding property. SOLUTION: In the mounting structure of the power resistor 1, the power resistor 1 is fitted to the bracket 2 made of a metal. The bracket 2 has a sticking plate 21 for fast sticking one side face 101 in the power resistor 1 and a gap-forming plate 22 for forming a gap 221 between the gap-forming plate 22 and the other side face 102 in the power resistor 1. The bracket 2 further has a connecting plate 23 connecting the gap-forming plate 22 and the sticking plate 21, and a presser 3 for pressing the power resistor 1 against the sticking plate 21.
