PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescence device which is excellent in luminance, stability and durability, capable of coping with requirements, such as an increase in area, and easily manufactured. SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescence device is composed of a pair of electrodes, one is transparent and the other is translucent, and one or more organic compound layers sandwiched between the electrodes. At least, one layer out of the organic compound layers contains one or more kinds of electric charge transfer polyurethane formed of repeating units that contain one kind of structure, which is selected from N-phenyl carbazole derivative structures represented by formulas (AI-1) and (AI-2), as a partial structure and luminescent low molecules that emit light when the electron energy level transitions from an excitation triplet state to a ground state or transitions to a ground state via the excitation triplet state. In formulas (AI-1) and (AI-2), R1 represents a hydrogen atom, a 1-8C alkyl group, an alkoxy group, or a substituted or an un-substituted aromatic group. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
