PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable capacity circuit capable of performing capacity modulation with a frequency different from an applied alternating voltage. SOLUTION: This device at least has: two first electric elements 31a, 31b of which capacity changes according to absolute values of drive signals S2a, S2b while preventing passage of a direct current signal; two second electric elements 32a, 32b which prevent passage of a direct current signal while permitting passage of an alternating current signal; and two secondary windings 33c, 33d in a transformer 33 which generates alternating voltage. The first electric element 31a, the second electric element 32a and the secondary winding 33c are arranged in one loop path LP1 while the first electric element 31b, the second electric element 32b and the secondary winding 33d are arranged in another loop path LP2.
