PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting means for emitting light which makes a photocatalyst excited in the vicinity of a water purification filter, in a refrigerator including a water supply tank for storing ice making water and the water purification filter provided within the water supply tank. SOLUTION: In this refrigerator including the water storage tank storing ice making water and the water purification filter provided within the water supply tank, the photocatalyst is included in the water purification filter, and the light emitting means for emitting light which makes the photocatalyst excited is provided in the vicinity of the water purification filter.
