PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knocking detection device capable of accurately detecting knocking produced in a combustion chamber of an engine without selecting a band-pass filter or the like for every engine. SOLUTION: A knocking detection device is provided with a cylinder head gasket 1 interposed between the cylinder head 12 and cylinder block 11 of an engine 10 and a knock sensor 5 for detecting a gasket contact pressure and converting the pressure into an electric signal.
