A washing machine is provided to exchange a water supply filter on time by checking an exchange time of the water supply filter through an alarm device for indicating a filter exchange time. A washing machine includes a water supply filter(425) and a filter exchange time alarm device(50). The water supply filter is arranged on a water inlet(423) of a water supply valve(42) and filters foreign substance included in water supplied from external water supply. The filter exchange time alarm device allows a user to check an exchange time of the water supply filter easily by measuring a speed of the water flowing through a water supply passage(421) and includes a transparent tube(51) and an identification ball(52). The transparent tube is made of a transparent material to see inside the filter exchange time alarm device. The identification ball is movably installed inside the transparent tube and moves to show the exchange time of the water supply filter. |
