摘要 PURPOSE: A process and a catalyst for the disproportionation and transalkylation of toluene and heavy aromatics are provided to improve the selectivity and the treatment capacity of the aromatic compounds of C10 or more by employing a high weight hourly space velocity and a catalyst with the improved activity. CONSTITUTION: The catalyst comprises 20-90 parts by weight of a hydrogen-form zeolite whose SiO2/Al2O3 molar ratio is 10-50; and the components supported to the zeolite comprising 0.05-10 parts by weight of molybdenum oxide, 0-10 parts by weight of bismuth oxide, 0.01-5 parts by weight of lanthanum oxide, 0-10 parts by weight of at least one metal oxide selected from nickel, silver and rhenium, and 10-60 parts by weight of aluminum oxide as an adhesive. The process comprises the step of reacting toluene with the aromatic compounds of C9 or more in the mass ratio of 95:5 to 5:95 in the presence of the catalyst and hydrogen at a temperature of 300-600 deg.C and a pressure of 1.0-5.0 MPa and with a weight hourly space velocity of 0.8-8 per hour. The molar ratio of hydrogen to hydrocarbon is 1-10; and the content of the aromatic compounds of C10 or more is 0-30 wt% in the reaction mixture.
