A method and a circuit for implementing an ear microphone of a stereo earphone in a communication terminal are provided to provide high sound quality by reducing noise and echo, and miniaturizing a product at a low cost and low power consumption. A switch unit(301) switches left and right stereo ear microphones so as to be driven as a speaker or a microphone, respectively, according to an internal or external selection of a communication terminal. A mixer(303) mixes outputs of the left and right stereo ear microphones selected by the switch and outputs a mono sound. An amplifier(305) receives a signal inputted to another of the stereo ear microphones selected by the switch and amplifies it.
