<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device which can appropriately perform recording and/or reproducing information to different optical information recording media in spite of a compact configuration. <P>SOLUTION: An optical pickup device PU can be efficiently arranged at a restricted gap between rails MR and SR, since a distance from the 2 laser 1 package 2L1P and a rise mirror M can be suppressed short, as a coupling lens CUL is arranged between a 2 laser 1 package 2L1P which involves a light source held in a first package PB arranged in a position near a rail SR for moving an optical pickup device PU and a dichroic prism DBS. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
