OPTICAL INFORMATION RECORDING METHOD AND OPTICAL INFORMATION REPRODUCING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording method and an optical information reproducing method improved in the reliability of holographic recording/reproducing and increased in versatility and applicability by widening the range of an operation temperature.

SOLUTION: The optical information recording method records interference fringes of information light and recording reference light in the hologram recording layer 2 of a recording medium by applying the information light 21 spacially modulated based on an information light space modulation pattern 12 and the recording reference light 22 formed in a reference light pattern 13 to be converged. Temperature conditions of the recording medium are detected, magnifications of the information light space modulation pattern 12 and the reference light pattern 13 in the incident pupil surface 15 of an objective lens are changed based on the temperature conditions.
