<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal element of a simple constitution, which reduces an excess aberration generated due to an existence of a wire arranged on a position superposed to transparent electrodes constituting the liquid crystal element. <P>SOLUTION: A first transparent electrode 14 and a second transparent electrode 15 constituting the liquid crystal element are composed of different concentric division areas 14a to 14d and 15a to 15e. Respective division areas 14a to 14d of the first transparent electrode 14 are opposed to two areas out of the division areas 15a to 15e of the second transparent electrode 15. On the other hand, the division areas 15a and 15e out of the division areas 15a to 15e of the second transparent electrode 15 are opposed only to one area of the division areas 14a, 14d of the first transparent electrode 14, and the remaining division areas 15b to 15d are opposed to two areas out of the division areas 14a to 14d of the first transparent electrode 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
