PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a log information management device for properly managing log information from an apparatus.

SOLUTION: The log information management device for storing log information generated in an apparatus includes; an authentication means which authenticates an apparatus transferring log information, on the basis of authentication information set to the apparatus; a log information acquisition means which acquires log information transferred from the authenticated apparatus; and a log information storage means which stores log information acquired by the log information acquisition means. The log information acquisition means acquires unauthenticated log information transferred from an apparatus for which at least the authentication means has failed in authentication processing, in association with authentication information, and the log information storage means stores at least unauthenticated log information in association with authentication information, and the authentication means performs authentication processing based on authentication information associated with unauthenticated log information with respect to the unauthenticated log information in the log information storage means.
